A collaborative effort between The Women's Museum and the Texas Discovery Gardens, the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) works to help students understand and take responsibility for issues in environmental and leadership studies.
Participants will learn:
- Environmental awareness and ways to live "green"
- Career paths associated with environmental leadership
- Valuable leadership skills
- Local environmental issues and urban sustainability
- Strategies to impact environmental policy decisions
During the program, students will use their environmental leadership skills through designing and implementing a service project in the Dallas area.
