Women’s Work and the Human Creative Process
Presented by Texas Woman’s University – Dance Department
This event is a presentation of women's choreography followed by a discussion of processes women choose when making dances
and why movement is their chosen mode of artistic expression. Choreographers and dancers will share their personal creative
experiences and offer demonstrations that explain how each dance metamorphosed from inspiration to performative art.

Dance Performance: Jai Ho to the Journey of a Young Eastern Danceuse
This performance is a visual treat with their Young Dance Company in their Journey from Classical Indian Dance through Tribal
and Fusion, to Bollywood and World Dance. 'Jai Ho' means let there be Victory and this time so, to celebrate the tradition in
ancient Indian Classical movements and its influence in the Eclectic Modern Dances seen throughout Hip and Hopping Bollywood.
