A Smithsonian Affiliate, The Women's Museum™ features state-of-the-art exhibits exploring history, science, technology, sports, and more. Juliette Gordon Low, founder of Girl Scouts, is included in the Organized Movements exhibit, along with other stories of unique and diverse American women. The Women's Museum™ offers a variety of educational and fun programs for Girl Scouts of all ages.

Brownie Badges:

CAREER'S TRY-IT
Earning this badge will give you the knowledge and confidence that you need when you begin looking for a career in the future. You will also learn how women over the years have broken the glass ceiling, and made it possible for women to be successful in any field.

POINT, CLICK AND GO
In today’s world it is more important than ever to be computer literate. You will learn how to be completely adept on computers and the internet, and all of the great things that can be achieved with this knowledge, when you earn this badge!

This interest project, designed by a volunteer in conjunction with The Women's Museum™ and the Girl Scouts of Tejas Council, allows Cadettes and Senior Girl Scouts to use the unique resources of The Women's Museum™ to discover the indomitable spirit of the American Woman. Suggested activities focus on museum exhibits, but activities that can be completed outside the museum are also included. Please contact the Girl Scouts of Tejas Council for more information.
