L.A.D.D.E.R.S.

Leadership Attributes to Develop Diplomacy, Ethics, Respect & Self-Esteem

UPDATE: The deadline for L.A.D.D.E.R.S. applications is June 1st.

The L.A.D.D.E.R.S. program is designed as an initiative to help adolescent girls prepare for college and to help them develop the attributes & characteristics needed for leadership. This institute will incorporate science, technology, engineering and math concepts to prepare young women for future successes.

Program dates:

• Session One: June 15 — June 26, 2009
• Session Two: July 6 — July 17, 2009
• Session Three: July 27 — August 7, 2009

Program Requirements:

• completed application with parent and/or guardian signature
• recommendation form completed by the applicants teacher, principal, community or church representative stating why candidate should participate in the program
• completed & signed Talent Release Form
• recent copy of report card, progress report and/or school transcript
  (Only if grade point average is below 2.5 on a 4.0 scale)
