BENEFITS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Members will be invited and encouraged to attend the annual National Advisory Meeting at The Women's Museum to be held in November of each year in conjunction with the "Wine, Women & Shoes" events.
Members of the National Advisory Forum will also be encouraged to support The Museum at the annual membership level of $1,000.00.
Participation at this level entitles National Advisory Forum members to the following:
- listing on the letterhead and, where appropriate, in other Museum printed materials.
- VIP invitations to all Museum events, exhibit openings, and education programs.
- and, information about Museum activities through receipt of a quarterly newsletter prepared especially for NAF members.
In addition, members of the National Advisory Forum will be invited to participate in special events and programs that may include:
- serving as a Featured Speaker or Host at the Museum's widely acclaimed Stories from the Top program held annually in March spotlighting women's achievements through personal and professional stories.
- participating in the Museum's annual Wine, Women & Shoes a unique and exciting fund-raising event featuring a behind-the-scenes opportunity to meet our nation's top women wine-makers and sample their wines; a luxury live auction, luncheon and fashion show that spotlights high-profile women leaders as models; and the opportunity to purchase the latest designer shoes.
The grand finale features a small group culinary experience in private Dallas homes that includes a gourmet dinner, premium wines, and a selective live auction. Each dinner site features a specific vintner and her wines and the opportunity for intimate conversation with a number of high-profile, special guests, including members of the National Advisory Forum.
Willing members of the National Advisory Forum will have the opportunity to serve as fashion show models and/or special guests at the evening "Dine-Arounds".
