For the woman who enjoys two of life’s greatest pleasures:

wine & shoes

Wine, Women, & Shoes WINE, WOMEN & SHOES is a series of three events benefiting The Women’s Museum: An Institute for the Future at Fair Park in Dallas. The brainchild of Elaine Honig, Creative Director of Honig Vineyard & Winery, Napa Valley, the third annual Wine, Women & Shoes is planned for November 15 & 16. This year’s event is chaired by Liz Minyard, Suzanne Charriere and Karla Barber, with Ambassador Kathryn Hall serving as Honorary Event Chair.

SIP, SAVOR & LEARN
"Behind-the-scenes” look at women vintners and their wines
Approximately 200 guests will sample wines from the 12 Napa Valley vineyards while each vintner tells us about her life and her wine and explains which shoes, whether 5-inch stiletto heels or ballet flats, best match her wine. This popular event includes appetizers plus door prizes, and, of course, shoes and wine.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15 FROM 6:30 PM TO 8:30 PM
(Click here to purchase event tickets.)

SIP & SHOP
Mid-day escape: lunch and fashion show
Approximately 350 wine and shoe lovers will attend this lunch and show fashion show featuring the wines of the participating vintners paired with food from Dallas chefs. The season’s must-have shoes from SAKS Fifth Avenue will be showcased in a runway fashion show featuring some of Dallas’ most prominent women. Auction items include reserve wine collections, a shopping trip with Dallas fashion consultant Harriet Gibbe and a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Napa Valley.

SIP & DINE

DESIGNER SHOE BOUTIQUE
For the woman who knows her Jimmy Choos from her Manolo Blahniks, an impressive selection of vintage couture and designer shoes and accessories as well as shoes featured in the fashion show will be available for sale during both the Sip, Savor & Learn and Sip & Shop events.
