Conversations with Linda Tarr-Whelan

Linda Tarr-Whelan, member of the Museum's National Advisory Forum, will launch her timely new book, Women Lead the Way: Your Guide to Stepping up to Leadership and Changing the World, at the Museum on Thursday, September 17. Former Ambassador to the UN Commission on the Status of Women in the Clinton White House and Deputy Assistant for Women's Concerns in the Carter administration, Tarr-Whelan has been noted as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Washington by Ladies Home Journal. Currently, Linda is a Distinguished Fellow and Director of the Women's Leadership Initiative at Demos, the non-partisan policy and research center based in NYC and founded in 2000.
