MUSEUM OVERVIEW

The Women's MuseumThe Women's Museum: An Institute for the Future is the nation's only comprehensive women's history museum. The museum chronicles the lives of more than 3,000 American women using state-of-the-art interactive exhibits to explore their contributions throughout American history, and to examine the similarities and differences among women's lives across time. The museum offers educational and enrichment programs, group tours and school tours.

Since opening, the museum has welcomed more than 500,000 national and international visitors. Using history and technology, The Women's Museum™ hopes to shape the future and inspire the next generation of leaders, educators, caregivers, entrepreneurs, scientists, athletes and more.

The Women's Museum™ is located at 3800 Parry Avenue in historic Fair Park. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Museum is also supported in part by the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs, the Texas Commission on the Arts and the National Parks Service.
