State Fair of Texas 2009
The Women's Museum: An Institute for the Future is proud to present a full lineup of exhibits and activities for the 2009 State Fair of Texas. Admission to the Museum will be free during the State Fair. From the Texas Girls' State Fair to science shows and 2 exhibits, we've got something for the whole family! In fact, we were voted the most family friendly place at the State Fair.

The Women's Museum's featured special exhibits are:
- Music Seen: Rock 'n' Roll Photojournalists will offer State Fair of Texas visitors a personal look at the biggest names in music history. The exhibit will feature over 100 photographs by well known women music photojournalists Lynn Goldsmith and Janet Macoska.
- Women and Spirit: Catholic Sisters in America highlights the untold story of Catholic sisters through the display of rare artifacts and photographs from more than 400 communities.
